i. respect
Respect the staff and other members. That's a pretty simple rule, treat everyone nicely and we'll be good.
ii. pg13
This site is rated PG13. That means swearing should be minimal (and I shouldn't see any at all out of character), no gore, and no explicit sexual content. That shouldn't be too hard to do.
iii. stay active
Activity is very important. If you have not posted anywhere on the site in over a week, with out notifying us you'd be gone or busy, you will be marked inactive, simple as that. I don't think it's too much to ask, all you have to do is at least post in the OOC boards once a week.
iv. no one liners
We do not have a word count, but do ask that you don't post one liners. Give whoever you're roleplaying with something to work with. Also, I do expect proper spelling, I understand a mistake here and there, it happens to everyone, but I don't want to see paragraphs full of misspelled words.
v. characters
Because this list would get way too long if each character rule had it's own spot, I'm putting them all here. First, no characters under thirteen, period. Second, this is a one character per account site, and your account name should be the first and last name of your character properly capitalized, so John Doe is good JOHN DOE, john doe and JoHn DOe are not good. Lastly, you may have a maximum of two characters to start, and if you can stay active with both those characters for a month (that means posting at least once a week with each character), then you can make a third. To make more you'll have to stay active with all your characters for a month again.
vi. realism
This is a medieval fantasy, that means no cars, cell phones, laptops etc. Also, have some fun with your character name and use a fantasy name generator to select it or something, I don't want any Elves named Joe.
vii. cbox
The regular rules for the Chat Box apply, no advertising, spamming, flaming, etc. Basically don't abuse it or you lose it.
viii. have fun
The number one rule here at Andolina is have fun! Now go out and enjoy the site!
